Become a Benson Marine engineer!
The number of service jobs that we attend keeps growing with each year. To keep pace with this, we are always on the lookout for skilled, hard-working engineers who relish challenges and problem-solving, and are adept at fault-finding.
Your profile:
  • Completed at least vocational training in electronics
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Prior experience in a similar field would be preferable
  • Ability and willingness to travel to any other port in India at short notice
  • Being proactive about developing a good technical understanding of the equipment
  • The ability to think logically and to come up with solutions while on the job is paramount
Your tasks:
  • Handling installation, commissioning, repair and service of all our equipment on customer vessels, at ports all over India. Majority of the work will be centred around marine navigation equipment (gyrocompasses, autopilots, etc.). You will attend on average about 5-7 service jobs per month
  • Providing remote assistance to customers

We are the authorised and exclusive agent in India for one of the world's leading wiper manufacturers. To keep up with India's fast growing rail sector, we are looking for a dedicated, efficient and ethical professional to handle our rail windscreen wiper business and help fully realise its potential.


Your profile:

  • Excellent communication skills and good command of spoken and written English
  • Ability to understand the basic technical details of the products
  • Willingness to travel to visit customers all over India


Your tasks:

  • Manage all our rail wiper projects, existing and new, completely from start to finish. This includes handling enquiries, negotiations and contract finalization, and being the main point-of-contact for customers and the manufacturer
  • Communicate clearly, quickly and efficiently with the UK-based manufacturer and the Indian customers
  • Understanding all the information that comes from the customer and the manufacturer, and ensuring that all the necessary information flows smoothly in the right form from the customer to the manufacturer and vice-versa
  • Maintaining brand awareness among customers, and generating new leads
